Rota dos Saberes & Sabores

Rota dos Saberes & Sabores is a owner-run shop with over 10 years of history, where Isabel and Vasco bring art and craftsmanship to life. Vasco has been painting for 35 years, while Isabel creates beautiful ceramics. Together, they make everything you see in the store. Vasco’s murals also brighten several walls across Portugal, with one featured just across the street.

What began as a café showcasing local goods has evolved into a space dedicated to their own creations. Many of Vasco’s paintings capture the beauty of Setúbal, from cityscapes to a charming series of sardines inspired by local doors and Portuguese traditions.

Visitors are welcomed warmly and enjoys explaining the stories behind each piece. You can even watch Vasco paint in the shop, or request personalized works such as hand-painted tiles featuring a favorite motif.
